"Music-making Angels" by Hans Memling, created between 1483 and 1494.
It is part of a larger altarpiece titled "Christ with singing and music-making Angels". The painting currently resides in the Royal Museum of Fine Arts, Antwerp (KMSKA).
It depicts ten musical angels dressed in elaborate liturgical vestments against a gold background, positioned within clouds. The angels are playing a variety of period-accurate musical instruments, including lutes, violas, flutes, and a portable organ.
